[Action Required] Upcoming CloudVision as-a-Service IP Address Update Sep 19, 2025 00:00-00:01 UTC

Update -
Update
This is final update to our previously announcement regarding additional IPv4, IPv6 addresses that will be used by CloudVision as-a-Service. There will be no additional updates made for this announcement. Please note that there have been no changes made to IPv4, IPv6 addresses shared in initial announcement on July 15th, 2025 - if you have already taken action, there is no further action required. We appreciate our customers for planning accordingly.

What you need to know
In our continuous efforts to improve CloudVision as-a-Service, we will be updating the public IP addresses that serve our website and APIs endpoints. This update may impact your devices streaming to CloudVision as-a-Service.

CloudVision as-a-Service will be using the following anycast IP addresses, in addition to the IPs already listed on https://www.arista.io/meta/ip.json :
  • IPv4: 162.159.142.2, 172.66.1.251
  • IPv6: 2606:4700:7::1f6, 2a06:98c1:58::1f6

  • Our initial notice, and this final update is to inform you about upcoming changes to our service. We'll provide further updates as all CloudVision as-a-Service regions transition to the new IP addresses. This change will affect all service regions.

    What you need to do
Please ensure all your devices can reach the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses listed above. We highly recommend reviewing and updating any existing firewall rules and network routes by September 19th, 2025, to avoid service interruptions when we roll out these changes. After this date, the new IPv4 and IPv6 addresses may be enabled and used at any time by CloudVision as-a-Service.

    We’re here to help
If you have any questions, please reach out to our TAC Team at support@arista.com.

Update - Please disregard the previous update; there is no maintenance scheduled at this time. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused. The reminder update was sent in error.

    Update -
    Deadline extension

This is an update regarding our recent announcement about the changes to the public IP addresses serving CloudVision as-a-Service.

We are extending the deadline originally set for August 31, 2025. This extension is to allow for additional time for our customers to ensure the IPv4 and IPv6 addresses announced can be reached from customers' environment.

The required action remains the same: please ensure your devices can reach the new IP addresses, however, the timeline has been extended.

The new deadline will be communicated on September 5th, 2025.

    Aug 29, 2025 - 17:12 UTC
Update - We have updated the announcement and posted a banner on CloudVision as-a-Service Login page.

Resolved - This incident has been resolved.
    Sep 16, 19:01 UTC
Investigating - We are currently experiencing high device streaming latency on this affected cluster.

Some impact may be user visible, such as:
    - A delay in processing streamed device data. Some events such as "Device stopped streaming" or "Streaming Latency Breached Threshold" may fire as a result of this. In this case, the device updates are behind schedule and will be processed with some delay during the impact window.
    - There may be some stale data, or sporadic timeouts viewing parts of the UI.
    - Some provisioning features may be delayed or timeout due to the high latency.

We are currently investigating the issue and working on mitigation. Thank you for your patience.
